Chapter 2: The Computer
This chapter of the text was very difficult for me to read. I found it to be very boring. A young person like myself, having grown up with computers my whole life, does not feel the need to read up on every shortcut function of computers. It is like a second language to me. This stuff comes second nature.
What I did find useful, was the explanation of different file types and how storage and sizing works. This type of thing has always been something that I've struggled with and I think having the foundations can be really useful when working on projects.
The practical parts of this chapter were very useful, but the long explanations of the early stages of the computer were boring and unnecessary and made it difficult for me to focus. I think I'll come back to this chapter when I'm looking for specific information.
